This course is for the person NEW to digital photography. The
class will cover the basics of digital cameras and accessories; memory cards,
card reads and software for photo enhancement application. Discussion of aperture,
shutter speed and depth of field will show you how to take a photo, NOT a snapshot!
Bring your camera and User Manual to the classes,
and then practice what you learn. Finally, you will discover how to transform
your photos into works of art. Learn how to clean up photos, change backgrounds,
and adjust color and lighting. Other topics include file types and their applications
(jpeg, tiff, Windows bitmap, png); file size, and sharing photos via email. Instructor:

a camera, bring it and your User Manual to the classes. You’ll learn how
to take a photo, not a snapshot! Aperture, shutter speed and depth of field will
be covered. Discover free (online) photography courses and free photo storage
options. Practice what you learn! Learn to transform your photos into works of
art. Adjust color, lighting, and change backgrounds and learn file types and their
